Hardware Engineer (Senior)
Location: NTS Pinewood Facility, Tampa, FL (MacDill AFB)
Clearance Requirement: Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
Position Summary
The Senior Hardware Engineer supports the TACLAN program by evaluating emerging and existing technologies, troubleshooting complex hardware and network issues, and performing system updates and installations. This role is responsible for designing and implementing network solutions, as well as conducting modeling and testing to ensure system performance, reliability, and mission readiness.
Core Responsibilities
Evaluate hardware and network technologies for performance and applicability
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Perform system and infrastructure updates and upgrades
Install and configure hardware and supporting software
Design and implement network architectures and solutions
Conduct system modeling and performance analysis
Execute hardware testing and validation activities
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in hardware engineering, network engineering, or related technical field
Experience supporting tactical or enterprise network environments (implied by TACLAN support)
