Mystic Spear, LLC (Mystic Spear) is a SOF-focused Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) owned and operated by retired Special Operators and founded on the principle of Service Before Self. Most of our staff are retired or former SOF, and all of our employees are cleared to at least Top Secret. Mystic Spear was established in 2020 based on a need for a different kind of company; one capable of focusing on the Operator and not the fiscal “bottom line.” We are a technology-driven, mission-focused company that believes in speed to the Operator, delivering solutions in weeks to months instead of years. Our business model is predicated on providing capability to the warfighter as rapidly as possible. Known as problem solving integrators, we believe the fastest way to solve most technological problems that warfighters face is to find the 80% solution as Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and then modify, integrate, and incorporate software tools, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), to fill as much of the remaining 20% as possible. It is our belief this is the fastest way to answer the capability gap for many warfighter needs.

Differentiators
Mystic Spear’s greatest strength and differentiator derives from our years of experience in SOF Operations. We understand the challenges SOF Operators face because we once faced them ourselves. Most of our staff is former SOF, and between our active-duty experience and years supporting SOF as research and development contractors, we move fast to deliver high-quality technology solutions to the warfighter – in months, not years. Our focus is on solving Operator technology issues by leveraging COTS technologies as much as possible. We have a unique and extensive technology scouting capability that allows us to locate potential COTS technologies (sensors, actuators, APIs, etc.) that we can modify and integrate to achieve a high-level solution.
