Test Engineer (Journeyman)

Location: NTS Pinewood Facility, Tampa, FL (MacDill AFB)
Clearance Requirement: Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)

Position Summary

The Journeyman Test Engineer is responsible for planning, developing, and executing system test activities to ensure functionality, performance, and compliance with established requirements. This role supports TACLAN systems by identifying defects, monitoring system behavior during testing, and evaluating usability to ensure operational effectiveness and reliability.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans, test cases, and test procedures

  • Conduct system, integration, and functional testing

  • Monitor system performance and behavior during test execution

  • Document, track, and report software and hardware defects

  • Evaluate system usability and user experience considerations

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in test engineering, systems testing, or a related technical discipline.

  • Experience executing test plans and documenting defects in technical environments.
